US Air Force recognize Puerto Rico SDF service

The United States Air Force recently recognized a detachment of Puerto Rico State Guard (State Defense Force) troops for their service during the Hurricane Maria and Hurricane Irma activations.  Here is the official news item:

During today’s unit training assembly, a group of outstanding airmen from the 1st Air Base Group-PRASG Civil Engineering Flight, received a recognition from the 156 Airlift Wing for their extraordinary support to Muniz Air National Guard Base in the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

Their support was crucial to put back Muñiz ANGB in an operational status and allow the 156AW to provided critical sustainment support to the People of Puerto Rico.
