The Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) has been on active duty since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak assisting the National Guard and serving Texans. Months later they are still serving providing Covid 19 Testing as well as providing communication and logistic support to the National Guard and emergency departments.
From El Paso to Houston, and every community in between, your Texas Guard is still on mission to provide COVID-19 testing to Texans in every corner of the state. Your Guard is doing our part to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Texas.

Members of the Texas State Guard are manning the Texas Emergency Operations Center at Camp Mabry to coordinate response efforts and to synchronize information across all of the Guard’s multiple concurrent missions.
