The New York Guard (State Defense Force) recently returned to in person training drills. Since the start of the pandemic the force has been on active duty assisting the National Guard & Civil Authorities in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Over the past 18 months the New York Guard has been holding virtual drills and training primarily online and had over 120 service on mission supporting COVID operations throughout the state.
