The Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) recently graduated troops from a variety of development courses over the course of the year. From Direct Commission Officer Orientation, Officer Professional Military Education to Enlisted Professional Military Education courses. Some of the courses required long ruck marches, and rapelling. The troops will now return to their home units with their new knowledge and provide the State of Texas with better trained solders.
Congratulations to all the Texas State Guard graduates from a variety of courses over the weekend. Camp Swift was the site of five separate courses happening simultaneously to include Direct Commission Officer Orientation, Officer Professional Military Education, and Enlisted Professional Military Education courses. Well done to all students and cadre involved.
