- Description: One weekend a month you would visit A State Military Facility, work with The State Defense Force Public Affairs Office to cover a training event. The responsibilities of the position include documenting the training that is occurring, recording such training with camera equipment (Camera equipment will be provided by StateDefenseForce.com), hold interviews with soldiers & officers during the training event and coordinate with The State Defense Force PAO Staff & StateDefenseForce.com staff.

In The Field Journalist
We are hiring for our In The Field program. The position involves covering special training events and missions at The States Military Facilities and locations throughout The State. The position requires individuals having availability on most weekends and the ability to commit to an entire day reporting from the field. The position would involve coordinating with The National Guard & State Defense Force Public Affairs Office. Individuals must possess a modern smartphone, preferably an iPhone 11 or later. The phone must also have at least 150 GB of Free Storage. Any additional equipment will be provided by StateDefenseForce.com.
Daily Pay will be $100. StateDefenseForce.com will also cover mileage (gas) expenses and provide pay for a meal cost.
Expectations of Applicants:
- Must Reside in the Following States / Commonwealth:

- Ability to follow directions
- Possess a Email Address
- Familiar with Email Applications such as iOS Mail
- Respond to Emails within a reasonable period of time
- Understand the difference between 1080p, 4K, and 120 fps, or be willing to learn from us on the differences
- Be innovative when it comes to recording and what to report on
- Be able to prioritize what is important and not important to report on
- Be adaptive to the changing environment
- Possess a functioning vehicle that can travel up to 100-200 miles
