South Carolina State Guard Attends 9/11 Memorial Event

The South Carolina State Guard (State Defense Force) 2nd Battalion recently attended the Greenville City 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. This is an annual event that honors the FDNY Firefighters, First Responders and military service members who lost their lives on September 11 2001. Participants of the event climb the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center to honor those Firefighters.

The SCSG 2BN joined with other organizations in The Greenville City 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. This is an annual event that honors the FDNY firefighters, first responders, and military who selflessly gave their lives on September 11, 2001. Participates climbed the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.
