In January Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, presented the Virginia Bronze Star Medal to Capt. (Va.) Joseph T. Wallace of the Virginia State Defense Force for saving a human life during the Winter storm of January 2017.
