In July, The Texas State Guard participated in a full scale emergency response exercise along with the Missouri National Guard, Texas Air National Guard as well as other federal, state, and local health and human service agencies. The exercise purpose is to increase joint and interagency readiness and to demonstrate these capabilities so as to have an available and effective resource to the citizens of Texas.
