The Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, activated the Texas National Guard & State Guard (State Defense Force) in a combined effort to respond to the Covid-19 Outbreak. The Guardsmen will provide a multitude of support assistance to State agencies from medical, communication, infrastructure maintenance, logistics as well as transportation.
