NY Guard Commander visits troops

The New York Guard (State Defense Force) commander, Brigadier General David J. Warager, spent a day visiting New York Guard troops that are serving on State Active Duty (SAD).  He was briefed by Army National Guard officers regarding the status and performance of New York Guard troops during their Covid 19 Joint Task Force response mission.

While hard at work supporting the State’s response to #COVID19, the 27th IBCT hosted Brig. Gen. David Warager, commander of the New York Guard, during a visit Apr. 25. Warager was briefed by 27th IBCT leaders and recognized New York Guard for their outstanding service.
