The California National Guard Adjutant General, Major General David S. Baldwin, & the Army National Guards 40th Infantry Division Commanding General, Major General Laura Yeager, visited California State Guard (State Defense Force) troops in the field while undergoing their yearly annual training.
During the recent Annual Training for the Army Component Command at
Joint Forces Training Basein Los Alamitos The Adjutant General MG David S. Baldwin, MG Laura Yeager Commander of the National Guard’s 40th Infantry Division, MG (CA) Jay Coggan Commander of the California State Guard, BG (CA) Michael Herman Commander of the ACC, Deputy Commanding General – Operations 40th Infantry Division BG Michael Leeney, Chief of Staff ACC COL (CA) Joseph Von Sauers and support staff visit the training mission. They were briefed by 2LT (CA) Mike Robertson, 49th SPT DET, and SSG (CA) Jonathan Scholtz Aide-De-Camp ACC. Security details were provided by the CA 49th SPT Detachment State Military Police Unit lead by SGM (CA) Dennis Barberic.
