The Georgia State Defense Force recently assisted the Alpha Company of the 1-54 of the Army National Guard in a Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) training mission. SFAB are specialized units whose mission is to conduct training, advising, as well as working with allied nations on tactical operations.
Georgia State Defense Force Soldiers participated in a Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) training mission, Fort Benning, Ga., March 1-5, 2021. The GSDF mission was to support the A company 1-54 of the National Guard. The Soldiers used weapons modified for training purposes during the mission.
