Brand new Officer Candidates of the California State Guard (State Defense Force) recently began their training to become leaders in the State Guard.
The next generation of CSG officers received their first phase of basic instruction at our training facility at Camp San Luis Obispo. Students learned basic drill and ceremony, military customs and courtesies, as well as military doctrines in leadership, command and followership.
