The Alaska State Defense Force spent their June training time developing their Land Navigation skills. Land Navigation is a core skill for the Alaska State Defense Force which they utilize for all their missions.
ASDF soldiers participate in Land Navigation training at Alcantra Armory 5-6 June 21. Land navigation is a core military discipline. In preparing for domestic response situations (i.e. search and rescue, floods, fires, earthquakes) being able to identify your location and and arrive safely is paramount.
