The Ohio Military Reserve (State Defense Force), which was part of Task Force Midas, was honored for their over year long service assisting the Ohio Office of Unemployment Insurance Operations. They exceeded expectations by completing over 360,000 thousand caeses of unemployment insurance claims by the citizens & residents of Ohio.
This wrap-up of Ohio Military Reserve mobilization for Operation Steady Resolve was featured in the Ohio National Guard’s August “Buckeye Guard” newscast.It recognized the end of 15 months of state active duty by the State Defense Force of Ohio which includes the Ohio Military Reserve, The Ohio Navy and the Cyber Reserve. As MG Harris commented the efforts were historic.
