The Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) 2nd Battalion recently held training to certify their engineers in Basic Life Support.
Members of 1st Battalion (Medical), 2nd Brigade, Texas State Guard, train and certify 2nd Battalion engineers in Basic Life Support (BLS) in Houston, Texas, August 14th, 2021. In addition to providing medical care and support for 2nd Brigade troops as well as civilians during emergencies, the professional medical personnel of 1st Battalion routinely provide training to ensure all members maintain BLS certification to provide first aid and CPR during a disaster response.
