A new class of troops graduated from the Georgia State Defense Force Command and General Staff Officer Course. This course is intended to develop the skills of Officers to ensure they fulfill the missions of the State Defense Force.

Georgia State Defense Force (GSDF) Soldiers graduate from the GSDF Command and General Staff Officer Course, Ellenwood, Ga., Nov. 21. 2021.GSDF Training and Doctrine Command Commander Col. Allen Vance commended graduates for completing this capstone course. The course develops command and staff capabilities (Maj./Chief Warrant Officer 3 through Lt. Col./Chief Warrant Officer 4) to support the missions and goals of the GSDF.GSDF Commanding General Brig. Gen. Mark D. Gelhardt Sr. was guest speaker for the graduation. Chief of Staff Col. Dirk Daube and Command Sgt. Maj.
