One of The Missions assigned to the Connecticut Foot Guard is the deployment of Emergency Field Hospitals. During statewide emergencies the Foot Guard is tasked with providing these critical assets in key locations where temporary hospitals are needed to treat casualties. This mission became extremely important and useful during the Covid-19 Pandemic last year.
Over 30 CT Militia members performed mobile field hospital deployment training at Camp Hartell. Thanks to the Civil Air Patrol for sharing photos.
