TX State Guard Troops Provide Thanksgiving Dinner for Deployed National Guard Troops

Troops from The Texas State Guard 3rd Brigade recently provided a Thanksgiving Dinner to Soldiers of the Army National Guard that were deployed and not able to be home for the Holiday.

3rd Brigade, Texas State Guard troops of the Laredo area rallied up to bring to life an operation they named Operation Turkey Drop where service members CPL Sanchez, PV2 Maria Rodriguez, PV1 Leslie Amparan, PV1 Valentin Escamilla, and PV1 Saul Flores cooked, transported, and served food and goodies that were donated by the collaboration of community leaders like United community pantries, Nadia Kenedy the TX Survivor Services Coordinator for the Nation Guard, Maria Lopez Soldier, and Family Readiness specialist for the National Guard office, Congressman Henry Cuellar and his offices and Texas Veterans Network.
