TX 3rd Brigade Spends Drill Training & Certifying for Upcoming Hurricane Season

The 3rd Brigade of the Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) spent their drill weekends covering a multitude of tasks from training and certifying for the Texas Division of Emergency Management’s Emergency Tracking Network (ETN), to deployment readiness training. In between those crucial training tasks they ensured their troops meet uniform, height & weight regulations, and as covering some Drill & Ceremony (DNC).

Troops from 3rd Platoon of the Laredo area had their monthly drill this past Saturday where they had their height and weight evaluation, uniform inspections, TETN field exercise, and deployment readiness assessment training










1st Platoon service members had their monthly drill in the Weslaco area where they had ETN training and certification and did deployment ETN scenarios to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season.
