The Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) recently worked with the Texas Department of Public Safety & Val Verde County Fire Department to help extinguish a fire on the border.
Members of the Texas State Guard and the Texas Department of Public Safety recently assisted the Val Verde County Fire Department extinguish a fire on ranch property near the Texas-Mexico border.The quick response of the Guardsmen and Troopers helped limit the amount of land affected by the fire.
