The South Carolina State Guard (State Defense Force) recently assisted local authorities in the Cooper River Brigade Run. This large event held in Mt. Pleasant & Charleston attracts hundreds of runners in a long distance 10K run. The South Carolina State Guard provided medical and logistical support during the event.
The SC State Guard was honored to help with the safe running of this year’s Cooper River Bridge Run in Mt. Pleasant/Charleston this past weekend.0430 formation came early on Saturday morning. SC State Guard Commander BG Leon Lott was on hand to address Guard members prior to their deploymentacross the run route. The SC State Guard is proud to have been a part of this great event for a number of years.
