Georgia SDF Holds Recruiting Event At One of the Largest Festivals in Georgia

The Georgia State Defense Force recently attended the Big Shanty Festival, a 2 day event with approximately 70,000 attendees. Captain Clark Howard, a well known media personality, attended the event speaking to attendees and discussing the mission and benefits of joining the Georgia State Defense Force.

The Georgia State Defense Force also assisted the Kennesaw Police Department during the event with crowd & traffic control.

Soldiers from the GSDF 2nd Battalion/1st Brigade and supporting units assisted the Kennesaw Police Department with festival crowd/traffic control. An estimated 60,000-70,000 people attended during the 2-day event.
