The Commander of the Texas State Guard, Brigadier General Anthony Woods, was recently invited by the Texas Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) to be the guest of honor and preside over the ceremony. BG Woods is a former US Army Combat Veteran who served multiple tours in Afghanistan, and trained thousands of troops in border operations at the U.S.-Mexico border before joining the Texas State Guard.
The Texas State Guard is proud to have been invited to the Texas JROTC annual awards ceremony at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. TXSG Acting Commanding General, Brigadier General Anthony Woods gave encouraging remarks as the guest of honor and then presided over the pass and review.
