Team Blaze of the California State Guard (State Defense Force) is holding a recruiting event tomorrow, Saturday, May 21st. Team Blaze is one part of the Emergency Response Command of the California State Guard. This team is part of the National Guard & CALFIRE Joint Task Force whos mission is to fight wildfires throughout the state.
This is a amazing opportunity to learn about the Team, their mission and meet the troops that make up this elite unit.
Those interested in joining will need the following:
- Identification/ Proof of Citizenship Documents
- Athletic Gear for physical fitness evaluation
- If Prior Service, bring a copy of your DD-214 Long Form
- COVID-19 Vaccine CDC Card (You may not show up unless you have had at least 1 dose and are waiting to get your 2nd dose)
- DO NOT DRINK ANY CAFFEINE 24 HOURS BEFORE SHOWING UP !
- Once you get on Base, you are to report to Building #3. (You can ask the MP at the Gate for Directions)
