The legendary 10th Medical Regiment of The Maryland Defense Force recently held their yearly certification courses for both First Aid & CPR. The Maryland Defense Force ensures all its troops are capable of providing these critical life saving techniques so they can respond to any emergency when called up by the Adjutant General (Senior National Guard Commander of the State).
The 10th Medical Regiment is a legendary unit as it is the first and only State Defense Force unit to be deployed overseas. In 2006, the unit was attached to the Maryland Air National Guard on a humanitarian and medical mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The MDDF 10th Medical Regiment conducted its inaugural First Aid and CPR course at the Miller Building on Camp Fretterd Military Reservation as an authorized training center for the Health and Safety Institute.
Congratulations to our attendees, and we look forward to teaching future courses!
