We are announcing that we have created and launched an organization known as State Guard & Defense Force Council. This organization will be the parent & management organization to StateDefenseForce.com, the State Defense Force Online Store, Commander Briefing Podcast, and our Facebook Group. The mission of the organization will be to:
We are dedicated to the development of State Guards & State Defense Forces throughout the nation. Our goals include facilitating awareness to the public of the existence and mission of the State Guard & Defense Forces, as well as providing a central news & informational resource hub for State Guard & Defense Force troops on the internet. We will accomplish this mission by working hand in hand with State Guards & State Defense Forces so that they may continue to support, assist and augment The National Guard.
The organization will be composed of a staff that will help direct and manage the departments of the organization which now include:

- Commander Briefing Podcast
- StateDefense Force.com Facebook Group
We are also in the process of registering SGDFC as a Non-Profit and will notify you once we have attained this status for our organization.
The organizations primary role will be that as a management organization for the departments of the organization. Other tasks the State Guard & Defense Force Council will undertake is publishing articles & documentaries on State Defense Forces. One report we are working on is our End of the Year Report Card which will feature an analysis on:
- What kind of missions and how many have been performed by the State Defense Force / State Guard?
- How many of those Missions were conducted as Joint Task Force missions with their National Guard?
- State Defense Force / State Guard Public Affairs Office Assessment

- Since the Public Affairs Office is the face of the State Defense Force we will analyze their performance on three factors
- 1. How often they publish news & content on their website & social media platforms?
- 2. Do they respond to press inquiries?

- How many troops did the State Defense Force / State Guard recruit?
- How many did they loose to attrition?
- How quickly do we get a response from a recruiter after an inquiry?
This will give better insight to which State Defense Forces are surpassing expectations and those who need to better develop and grow.
In conclusion, the State Guard & Defense Force Council will be the parent organization to the various programs and departments we oversee. It will be the official name that will be registered with the Federal, State and Local government. StateDefenseForce.com will now only act as a department of that organization.
