The Spring Class Basic Training Class of the Connecticut Foot Guard (State Defense Force) recently finished their training and held their graduation ceremony. This was the largest Basic Training class the Connecticut Foot Guard has ever held with 23 new recruits now joining the ranks. Among the 23 recruits was 5 female recruits which accounts for the largest female class for the Connecticut Foot Guard.

This past weekend was final training for the Spring Recruit Class. At the conclusion, we welcomed our new brothers and sisters into the Company.With the conclusion of the Spring Recruit Class, training will begin soon for our Fall Recruit Class.We now welcome one of our largest recruit classes of 23 new Recruits, and historically the largest female recruit class with 5 females, to the challenging and rewarding journey ahead.
