Here is the message he shared with the Texas State Guard:
Message from the Senior Enlisted AdvisorCSM Harlan Thompson, the Texas State Guard Senior Enlisted Advisor, has sent a very important message this morning via TXSGALL. Please check your email to read this message so you will understand his priorities and expectations. “Mission, Members, Me.”“The Texas State Guard is an ever-evolving organization. It is not the same as it was when I came in 19 years ago. We are constantly striving to improve our professionalism and skillsets so that we can be ready to act as force multipliers for the Army and Air National Guard as well as aid the Civil Authorities of the great state of Texas. As NCOs, our job is to ensure readiness, training, and adherence to standards. If we don’t do our jobs and keep the enlisted corps mission ready, the TXSG cannot do its job for the state of Texas. Do your part to ensure that our troops are ready for whatever the state of Texas needs from the Texas State Guard. ” CSM Harlan Thompson
