Soldiers from The New York Guard (State Defense Force) Public Affairs Team recently assisted and augmented The National Guard during their Veterans Day Parade. They worked with The National Guard Public Affairs Team to help capture photo’s and videos of The New York Army National Guards’s 369th Sustainment Brigade, 101st Signal Battalion, 104th Military Police Battalion and historic 69th ‘Fighting Irish’ Infantry Regiment as they marched down 5th Avenue in New York City. The 69th ‘Fighting Irish’ Infantry Regiment traces its roots all the way back to The Civil War, where they fought in numerous major battles including holding a key position at Cemetery Ridge during the Battle of Gettysburg which saved The Union Army from defeat.
The New York Guard Public Affairs Team repeatedly works with the National Guard Public Affairs Office on many missions providing photograph and video support.

New York City, N.Y. – The New York Guard provided public affairs support to the New York National Guard for the 103rd annual 2022 New York City Veterans Day Parade on November 11, 2022.Over 450 New York Army National Guard soldiers from the 369th Sustainment Brigade, 101st Signal Battalion and 104th Military Police Battalion marched down 5th Avenue. The soldiers were led by New York Army National Guard Brig. Gen.
