The content we are publishing is the speech given by The Adjutant General of New York, Major General Raymond Shields, during The 2022 State Guard Association of The United States (SGAUS) banquet. The speech features the Generals thoughts on State Defense Forces and the performance of The New York Guard during Covid-19 and other recent missions. The General dives into how The State Defense Forces assist the State and what capabilities they provide during State Emergencies.
