Poll – How Can The State Defense Forces Support The US Military?

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is a pivotal event in history as the world witnessed the first large scale war in Europe since World War 2. The conflict has involved not only the two countries but dozens of other countries from around the world. Countries that are now providing any and all assistance to the democratic nation of Ukraine. As the European conflict keeps escalating, divisions are taking shape in the world with China allying itself with Russia and against The Western Democratic Nations. With plans of their own to invade the free and democratic nation of Taiwan, world tensions are resembling Cold War levels.

As The US Military is called upon to answer these threats, they are also experiencing a manpower shortage. Currently The US Military is undergoing a recruiting crisis as they are struggling to find qualified applicants to join The Military. Only a quarter of Americans are qualified to serve in The US military due to nationwide problems such as childhood obesity. During the last fiscal year The Army alone was only able to recruit 45,000 applicants out of their 60,000 target goal.

With all these challenges, we wanted to ask you, if legislation was passed allowing State Defense Forces to directly assist The US Army Forces, in what capacity would you like to see The State Defense Forces help support The US Military?

  • Have State Defense Forces assist & augment their local US Army Units
  • Utilize State Defense Forces to fulfill stateside US Military missions so US Military units can be freed up for overseas deployment
  • Deploy State Defense Forces units who volunteer to fulfill overseas US Military missions – Noncombat missions
  • Have State Defense Force troops assist US Military Recruiters at Recruiting Stations and  recruiting related jobs
  • Have State Defense Forces fulfill vacant roles at US Military facilities – ie. Administration, Logistics, etc.

We are allowing multiple choices and the ability for you to add your own option to the poll.
