We added and updated a number of legislative bills for The Alaska State Defense Force & West Virginia State Defense Force
West Virginia does not have a State Defense Force / State Guard. For the past few years attempts have been made to create this organization however they have not been successful. Unfortunately this years attempt has followed in the same path with Senate Bill 587 failing to make it out of committee. For more information on this bill – Click Here.
We have also provided updates to a few Alaska State Defense Force Bills that are making their way through the legislature. One bill that relates to pay and allowances for Defense Force members, another that relates to providing an operating budget for The Alaska State Defense Force.
