Continuing a tradition of community support and collaboration, the Georgia State Defense Force has once again joined the Villa Rica Police Department in their annual Shop with a Cop program. This heartwarming initiative allows local, needy children to experience the joy of Christmas shopping alongside a local police officer and Soldier. Each child, equipped with a budgeted amount of money, is given the opportunity to select their own Christmas presents, turning the holiday season into a period of excitement and happiness. This program is about more than just gifts; it offers a unique chance for underprivileged children to build positive relationships with uniformed officers, creating a friendly environment that fosters trust and understanding between the youth and law enforcement.
The Villa Rica Police Department’s Shop with a Cop Program stands out for its efficiency and community focus, with no administrative or overhead costs, ensuring that 100% of monetary donations are channeled directly into the program. This year, the combined efforts of the Georgia State Defense Force, the Georgia Department of Public Safety, and the Villa Rica Police Department, supported by the community’s generous donations, have made it possible to provide Christmas presents for 115 children. This remarkable achievement highlights the power of community solidarity and the positive impact of collaborative efforts between different organizations in bringing joy and hope to those in need during the festive season.

On Monday, December 20th, Villa Rica Police conducted our annual Shop with a Cop event. We were assisted by the Ga. State Defense Force and the Ga. Department of Public Safety. Due to the community’s generous donations we were able to buy Christmas presents for 115 children. The photos are just a sample of the smiling faces. Thank you to everyone that was involved in making this event possible.

Hmm is anyone else having problems with the images on this blog loading? I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
I am also writing to let you be aware of what a perfect experience my wife’s daughter undergone reading through your blog. She discovered a good number of issues, including what it’s like to have a wonderful giving nature to make the others without problems grasp a number of specialized things. You undoubtedly did more than our own expected results. I appreciate you for offering such warm and friendly, trustworthy, edifying and even cool tips on the topic to Ethel.
Enjoyed reading through this, very good stuff, appreciate it. “If it was an overnight success, it was one long, hard, sleepless night.” by Dicky Barrett.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100 certain. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
