We’ve moved our In The Field video series from StateDefenseForce.com and Vimeo to Patreon, giving our supporters exclusive access. These videos include:

• New York Adjutant General Major General Ray Shields’ Speech
• State Guard Association of the United States Keynote Speech featuring Professor Barry Stentiford

These videos are presented in stunning 4K Ultra High Definition for an immersive viewing experience.

2025 State Defense Force Calendar Coming Soon

The highly anticipated 2025 State Defense Force Calendar will be released next month. Here’s what members will receive:

• Sergeant Major Tier and Above: A digital calendar featuring key State Defense Force milestones, including the dates when each State Defense Force was created, deactivation following World War I, their World War II reactivation date, and much more. The calendar will also feature a smartphone version so you can seamlessly integrate it and be able to see the historic dates as you go about your days. Additionally, members will receive a digital photo book that they can view digitally or print to display at home.
• Colonel and General Tier Members: In addition to the digital and smartphone-integrated calendar, these members will receive a premium physical calendar.

Guides To Easily Apply Discounts During Checkout in The SDF Online Store

Some members have recently experienced issues applying their Patreon discount codes in the State Defense Force Online Store. To address this, we’ve created a detailed guide to walk you through the process. You can find it here.

Additional Free Merchandise

We’re increasing the free items available to our Colonel and General Tier members as a thank-you for their incredible support:

• Colonel Tier Members: Now receive an additional free T-shirt, sweater, or accessory from the store—making it two free items in total.
• General Tier Members: Now receive three free items (two additional items) from the store.

Members can expect their updated coupon codes within the next day.

To enhance usability, we’ve organized our Patreon content into collections, making it easier to locate specific materials or resources quickly. We’re also working on visually distinct thumbnails for each category to simplify navigation.

What’s Coming Soon

• Scuttlebutt Podcast Transcripts: For those who prefer reading over listening, we’ll soon offer full transcripts of the Scuttlebutt Podcast.
• Expanded Reporting Program:
  • We’re collaborating with State Guards on initiatives like the Hazardous Deployment Patch and coverage of Texas State Guard soldiers deployed to the Texas-Mexico border as part of Operation Lone Star.
  • Expect weekly or bi-weekly updates on these and other ongoing programs.
• New Award Program: We’re developing a recognition program to honor your service in the State Defense Force. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Adjustments to Benefits

While expanding and enhancing certain perks, we’ve made some changes to streamline the overall experience:

• Annual Magazine: Publication delayed to Q1 2025 due to staff shortages and budget constraints.
• Custom Email Address: This has been removed due to low interest.
• Uncut Commanders Briefing Podcasts: Discontinued to align with state military policy guidelines.
• Content Bundling: In The Field and behind-the-scenes content are now combined under the In The Field category.
• Commanders Briefing Podcast Participation: Discontinued due to confidentiality concerns, as live interviews occasionally include sensitive information.
• Exclusive Apparel Design Collaboration: Now available only to Colonel and General Tier members.
• Live Scuttlebutt Events: Discontinued to avoid production issues.
• Political Campaigning Update: Moved to Sergeant Major Tier and Above due to the extra cost in maintaining daily communication with Senators throughout the nation. *Updated
