The Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) has been on active duty for months assisting and augmenting the National Guard during the Covid 19 pandemic, while on this mission they were also tasked with responding to a Tornado that touched down in Onalaska, Texas.

The men and women of TMD are serving in the fight against COVID-19, but we are also ready to respond to any disaster which might hit Texas. After a tornado struck this weekend in Onalaska, Texas, members of the Texas State Guardsprung into action to distribute food and other relief supplies.
