Over the past three to four years, the State Defense Force Online Store has published hundreds of products. Some performed exceptionally well, while others taught us valuable lessons. One message from the community came through loud and clear: you wanted unique, bold designs that truly reflect the pride, history, and mission of State Defense Forces.
A few weeks ago, we opened a search for a merchandise designer and that search led us to an incredible artist. Daniel Aguilar’s past work immediately stood out to us for its originality, strong visual identity, and attention to detail. His portfolio showcased decades of experience in graphic design, branding, and digital illustration, and it was clear he was exactly the creative voice we were looking for.

We brought Daniel onboard immediately to help deliver the bold, community-driven designs you’ve been asking for. We’re proud to announce the release of his first two products: one T-shirt and one sweater, both based on his powerful “Defenders of the People” graphic. The design features a Minuteman, the year 1917, symbolizing the birth of State Defense Forces, and a striking composition that brings heritage, service, and purpose together in a single, standout design.
And this is just the beginning.
Currently in development are upcoming designs for the Indiana Guard Reserve and the Texas State Guard, and we’re excited to give you an early sneak peek at what’s coming next.
