Over the past week we launched our first major public fundraising campaign to support the expansion of our programs, including legislative advocacy for better benefits and creating new State Defense Forces nationwide, the Quartermaster Corps initiative which is designed to provide State Defense Forces with limited budgets additional funding so they can feed their soldiers during weekend drills. We know many State Defense Forces undergo this as many of our staff faced times when they had to pay out of pocket for breakfast, lunch and dinner chow. The fundraiser also goes to fund out historical preservation efforts, which has our staff members go out to state archives digitizing old photographs, After Action Reports, Mission Logs, etc. so State Defense Force history isn’t lost to the sands of time. And one of the most key reasons of this fundraiser is to make all our content and media, currently behind a Patreon membership paywall, freely accessible to everyone.
As part of responsible leadership and transparency, we are reaching out to our community to better understand how we can improve this effort and ensure it reflects the priorities and realities of those who support State Defense Forces nationwide.

This is not simply a fundraiser, it is a long-term effort to build sustainable national support structures for State Defense Forces and those who serve in them.

What is the primary factor influencing your decision regarding donating to our current fundraiser?
