The Georgia State Defense Force Opposing Force (OPFOR) unit was recently invited by the Army National Guard to attend a change of command ceremony for the 3rd Battalion, 121st Infantry Regiment. The OPFOR unit works very closely with Army National Guard units acting as an opposing force during their Military Operations on Urban Terrain (MOUT) simulations. This helps Army National Guard soldiers develop their close combat skills before they deploy overseas.
