The Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) requires their units and troops to perform Physical Fitness exercises during their Inactive Duty Training (IDT) weekends. They also require each member to meet height & weight requirements so when called to duty they can perform the missions assigned to them by their Commanders & National Guard.
