We added a few original articles to our Publications Library. One focuses on the Maryland Defense Force working with the Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG), the Maryland Air National Guard (MDANG), the Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) during Operation Virgilant Guard. The operation focused on the Maryland National Guard’s ability to coordinate and interoperate with other state and local agencies during Terrorist attack. The other article focuses on the benefits of the Military Emergency Management Specialist (MEMS) course that is provided by the State Guard Association of the United States and the impact it has on troops in the field.
