During their January Drill, The 3rd Brigade of The Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) focused their time on casualty training. This critical skill is being utilized more and more as missions continue to focus on responding to hurricanes, tornadoes and other severe weather. The Texas State Guard combines this casualty management with their Search & Rescue skillset in order to have their soldiers capable to tackle any rescue missions they are assigned.
