California State Guard recruiting for Wildfire Teams

The California State Guard (State Defense Force) has been augmenting The National Guard / Fire Department Wildfire Task Force for the last few years combating the wildfires plaguing the state.  They recently announced they have a limited number of open positions for any State Guard soldiers that are interested.

CSG Service Members are you ready to respond? There are a limited number of available positions for wildfire hand crew members. If you are interested in applying, you must be qualified for arduous duty or be able to pass the arduous duty fitness test and a medical screening. If accepted, you will receive 30-day ESAD orders and then be deployed to an incident.
Let your chain-of-command know immediately if you are interested.
