Puerto Rico State Guard Plan Future Joint Missions with Puerto Rico Police Department

Recently the Puerto Rico State Guard (State Defense Force) sat down with the Police Commissioner of Puerto Rico, Colonel Antonio Lopez Figueroa, to discuss sharing resources with one another’s agencies. The two organizations plan to have an exchange of education and security resources. The Puerto Rico State Guard will also help assist the Police Department in the field investigations.

On May 5, 2022, we met with the Puerto Rico Police Commissioner, Colonel Antonio Lopez Figueroa, and his staff. Various topics of interest were discussed, such as the exchange of education, security and traffic resources, future training between the State Command and the Puerto Rico Police Volunteer Academy, the support of the Puerto Rico Police in field investigations to the new recruits of the State Guard Command among other topics. We thank the leadership of the Puerto Rico Police for their commitment and support to the State Guard Command.
