State Defense Forces throughout the nation are engaged in a variety of missions. The California State Guard (State Defense Force) & Washington State Guard (State Defense Force) participate in Wildfire Firefighting with their National Guard. The Texas State Guard invests heavily in Maritime Search & Rescue as well as working with their National Guard on Border Security. The Georgia State Defense Force has a OPFOR (Opposing Force Battalion) that assists the Army National Guard during their Urban Warfare Training Exercises.
