The Georgia State Defense Force 4th Brigade recently conducted a drill over the weekend, focusing on vehicle training and safety. During the exercise, soldiers were provided with the opportunity to drive various types of vehicles, from The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (Humvee) to The 2 + 1 ⁄ 2-ton, 6×6 truck, also known as The Deuce And a Half. Soldiers gained practical experience in operating them safely and efficiently. The training covered essential aspects such as safe driving techniques, performing Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on the vehicles, and learning recovery methods in case of emergencies or breakdowns. By actively engaging in this drill, the soldiers of the 4th Brigade not only honed their driving skills but also developed a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and the necessary measures to ensure the safety and readiness of their equipment.
Overall, this training session emphasized the importance of vehicle competence and safety within the Georgia State Defense Force 4th Brigade.
