New Patreon Goals More Membership Tiers, Lobbying Congress & Building State Defense Forces Nationwide

We at StateDefenseForce.com have been wrestling with the consideration of promoting State Defense Force legislation on The Federal and State level for a few years. We have worked with Federal Agencies in the past suggesting increased State Defense Force participation with US Military Forces as well as worked with State Senators & Assemblymen proposing State Defense Forces in States that don’t currently have active ones.

After the recent discovery of documentation by The National Guard Bureau proposing drastic uniform changes to State Defense Forces nationwide and the poll we recently held on our community page, we have decided to take a more active approach to lobbying for State Defense Forces on Capital Hill. Let’s first discuss one aspect of our new mission, which is to propose legislation in The US Congress for better integration and utilization of State Defense Forces with The United States Military. Legislation has already been written and circulated among some congressmen however that legislation was put on hold once a few world events occurred. We intend to advocate for this legislation on Capital Hill and push for its passage. You can learn more about it here.

Our primary objective with our Lobbying program is to elevate State Defense Forces as an integral partner of the United States Military. This collaboration aims to enable State Defense Forces to access Federal equipment and potentially secure Federal funding for various programs and missions, significantly enhancing their operational capabilities and impact.

This mission is not a first of its kind as State Defense Forces have had a much more integral relationship with The United States Military during World War I as well as World War II. We intend to restore key elements of that relationship.

But we cant do this without you.

So, we have a plan to start lobbying efforts within The US Congress, Department of Defense & National Guard Bureau as well as State Legislatures & Military Departments. What we need is funding, this is where you come in, we need you to become part of our Patreon Program which in turn will fund our lobbying program.

Today we are introducing two new Patreon member levels, a Champion Level and an Elite Level. Both of which will significantly help our lobbying efforts. The Champion level which will be a $50 monthly membership. These membership levels will grant us the ability to hire lobbyists to reach out and advertise the incredible resource that is The State Defense Force, so ultimately we can better partner and assist The National Guard. With this membership subscribers will receive an annual magazine that features exclusive articles covering State Defense Forces. This annual magazine will feature exclusive access to original articles not published on the website, interviews with State Defense Force & National Guard Commanders and much more. Champion Level Members will also receive a framed Certificate of Appreciation highlighting your dedication to The State Defense Force cause and a Separate category on our website stating your name in bold format of your support of StateDefenseForce.com

For those who wish to contribute more and be a more active component in the mission of The State Defense Forces we are introducing an Elite membership level. This membership will receive all the previous benefits of The Champion Level and other Patreon benefits such as 20% off SDF Store merchandise, but Elite members will receive an additional incredible benefit, by being accredited to every publication of StateDefenseForce.com. That means every article, podcast, and other piece of work we release will include your name to that piece of work so to ensure that everyone knows you made that accomplishment happen. Aside from that we will have your name listed on our website as a vital supporter of The State Defense Force mission but instead of listed on a side column it will be a pop up for all our thousands of visitors to see your name and the incredible support you provide to The State Defense Force cause. Lastly you will receive a exclusive yearly calendar you can hang up on your fridge, the top half featuring State Defense Force soldiers in action and the bottom half featuring each day of the month with highlights of important State Defense Force dates and notable actions. This level will be set to $100 per month.

Aside from these new tiers we will be increasing the current membership levels of Patreon Member ($1) and Benefactor Member ($10). Due to the rising costs of website hosting, website maintenance, website management, article development, and now our lobbying program we will be changing the cost of these tiers. The Base Patreon Membership will rise to $5 per month, on par with a cup of coffee from your local coffee shop, consider it like buying StateDefenseForce.com a cup of coffee each month. This tier will also receive a new benefit to accommodate the increase in price. Patreon Members will now get access to StateDefenseForce.com Articles which you can access here.

The Benefactor membership will rise to $20 per month, which we know is a significant rise in cost but we need your help. We need the funds to help pay staff and cover travel costs & lodging so they can travel to Washington D.C., speak to members of Congress, The Department of Defense and The National Guard Bureau. Our lobbyists goal is to convince these influential personnel of how useful State Defense Forces can be to our Homeland Defense operations. As well as to oppose any legislation or regulations that would drastically affect the mission and uniforms of State Defense Forces nationwide as we have previously reported on. To accommodate this increase in cost we are adding a new benefit, Benefactor members will now receive the annual magazine which we discussed earlier in The Champion Level Benefits. This magazine will feature exclusive interviews with State Defense Force & National Guard Commanders, as well as never before released articles and much more.
