TX State Guard holds Senior Leadership Conference

The Texas State Guard (State Defense Force) recently held a Senior Leadership Conference to discuss the missions & training of the force.

Our leaders took part in some very dynamic presentations and training in a variety of areas that they will bring home to their troops. Retention, Mentorship, Sharepoint, Positive Counseling, Community Service, Performance Evals, and many other areas of training were covered. It was an important weekend that will help us, as the Texas State Guard, continue to grown and improve.

What a great weekend it was as the Senior Leadership of the Texas State Guard met together to learn together. Topics of the TXSG Sr. Leadership Conference included Search & Rescue, Counseling/Performance, Promotion, Awards, Mentorship, Retention, Resource Funding, Sharepoint, Professional Military Education, Ops Calendar, and “The Way Ahead” Brief…to name a few.
