Command Sergeant Major Roberts Jenks of the The New York National Guard recently highlighted the importance of the NY Guard (State Defense Force) during a recent Commanders Conference.

Command Sergeant Major Roberts Jenks – New York Army National Guard addressed those in attendance during a morning briefing at this year’s Virtual Commander’s Conference.
CSM Jenks highlighted the importance of the NYG being integrated into civil support operations with the National Guard over the years, and the skill sets the NYG brings to the missions.
CSM Jenks thanked those in the NYG for their service, and recognized those who have been serving throughout the state on Operation Covid 19 for the past year, both on paid duty and volunteering their time to support the NYG.
