New TX State Guard Commander Makes the Rounds With The Troops

The New Acting Commander of the Texas State Guard (State Defense Force), Brigadier General Anthony Woods, recently visited troops throughout the state who are on Active Duty to bolster morale and thank them for their service. BG Woods is a former US Army Combat Veteran who served as a Task Force commander in Afghanistan and many years in multi roles in the Army.

The Texas State Guard Acting Commander, Brigadier General Anthony Woods, took the time early this week to travel around the state to visit with service members who are actively on duty and supporting our fellow Texans. His message encourages morale and welfare of the troops while they work hard to provide selfless service.
